Biggest Mistakes with Application

Having issues getting your press ons to last 10-21 days? Here are the biggest mistakes with application.

  • Prep, Prep, Prep

I cannot emphasize how important prepping your natural nail for the press on is. I provide everything you need to properly prep your nails. Push those crusty cuticles back and expose as much nail as you can! Clean dead cuticle off the nail plate, and DEHYDRATE with the alcohol pad. Don’t touch your natural nail after this as this introduces oils. Oil = poor adhesion and nails poppin' off! We don’t want that. 🙅🏼‍♀️

  • Avoid Prolonged Water Exposure

Tell your husbands to do the dishes tonight! 😂 All jokes.. but try to avoid soaking your hands in water for at least 24 hours. So, if you must bathe, keep those hands on the wine glass.🍷

Hair dressers, try as best as you can to wear gloves when possible!

  • Use Gloves When Cleaning

Harsh chemicals will break down the glue. Make sure to use rubber gloves to protect those beauties. 🧤Or better yet, ask your husband to clean the toilet! 😂

Also, you’re lying if you’ve never used your nails to scratch dried jelly, sauce, or whatever questionable stain is on your counter (it’s satisfying, I know). Gloves will prevent you from being tempted. ✋🏽
